Help Delfina Cross the Finish Line at Columbia
Delfina is just one semester away from making history in her family — graduating from Columbia University as a first-generation college student. As one of a small group of Hispanic and Indigenous students at the Ivy League institution, her journey has required not only academic excellence but extraordinary resilience in navigating spaces that weren’t designed with students like her in mind.
Delfina has been working since age 13 and has paid her own way through college until now, depleting her savings to invest in her future. But with $13,000 remaining in tuition — not housing, not living expenses, just tuition — she needs our help to graduate on time and continue her path to law school, where she plans to become an immigration attorney providing pro bono legal services to Indigenous and immigrant communities.
This isn’t just about one degree. It’s about generational change. It’s about a young woman committed to using her education to fight for justice and represent communities that are too often underserved. Delfina has done the hard work to get here — let’s help her finish strong.
