You were never meant to doubt yourself. Within you lies a quiet strength, waiting to be awakened. At Chances.org, we believe that confidence isn’t something you’re born with – it’s something you build, step by step, with love, belief, and encouragement.
Through uplifting messages, gentle reminders, and simple daily practices, we help you recognize your worth, speak with clarity, and carry yourself with grace. Whether you’re starting fresh or rising after a fall, this space is here to remind you: You matter. You are capable. And it’s time to shine.
You were never meant to doubt yourself. But somewhere along the way, life may have convinced you otherwise – through harsh words, comparisons, failures, or fears. Still, within you lives a quiet strength that never left. It might be buried beneath layers of hesitation or self-doubt, but it’s there. And the beautiful truth is: confidence isn’t a gift the lucky few are born with – it’s something you can grow.
Confidence begins with one small, powerful decision: to believe in yourself just enough to try. It doesn’t require perfection. It doesn’t need loudness or boldness or a flawless track record. It just needs you, showing up as you are, willing to take a step forward – even if you’re still shaking. At Chances.org, we believe in the power of small steps taken with love. And when you nurture those steps with encouragement, kindness, and daily intention, confidence takes root and begins to bloom.
Think of the people you admire most. Chances are, they’ve stumbled. They’ve questioned themselves. But they also kept going. What made them confident wasn’t that they never felt fear – it’s that they acted anyway. You have that same courage in you. It shows up in the moments you speak up, reach out, try again, or simply refuse to give up. Those are the moments that build your inner strength – and they deserve to be celebrated.
So today, take a breath and speak to yourself with kindness. Be the cheerleader you wish you had. Say things like: “I’m proud of myself for trying.”“I can figure this out.”“I don’t have to be perfect to be powerful.” These words matter more than you know. Because your thoughts are seeds, and what you plant with intention will grow – especially when nourished by love.
Confidence isn’t a destination. It’s a practice. A choice. A gift you give yourself over and over again. So let’s begin right here, right now. You are not behind. You are not broken. You are learning, rising, becoming. And that, my friend, is something to be proud of.

Chances.org has been run by one volunteer, me, since 1999. Here's how you can help keep it going.Read my letterClose my note
Hello, it's me, Amelia Carrie. I have been running and updating Chances.org since 1999, for free. I pay for the software, hosting, maintenance, apps, and more. That's more than 25 years of my life devoted to doing something I love.
However, the fact is that I am a senior now and due to having to compete with AI for computer graphics work, I can no longer afford to run this site on my own. I need your help, not only to keep it online, but to keep it growing. That's why I am updating Chances.org with a Donate button and a Sponsors page. Any extra money will be donated towards some of the chances needed ads on this site.
If you can't afford either, you can still help for free by using the sharing buttons below. Thank you!
With gratitude, Amelia Carrie
For investors and dreamers: If you are an investor with the means to help Chances.org grow as big as Change.org or GoFundMe, please write to me at
ChancesCharity@Gmail.com.
And if you have great plans and ambition, I may even let you take this site over, because everybody deserves a chance.
You can't have change without chances!
