A man walking along the beach saw a boy picking up starfish and throwing them back into the ocean. When asked why, the boy said he was saving them from the sun. The man said, “There are too many; you can’t make a difference.” The boy picked up another starfish, threw it into the ocean, and said, “I made a difference to that one.”
