Progressive Muscle Relaxation

Deep Dive:

If you struggle with falling asleep, this mindfulness exercise can help you relax your body and prepare for a restful night.

Action Steps:

  1. Start at your toes and work your way up through your body.
  2. Tense each muscle group for 5 seconds and then release.
  3. Take deep breaths in between each muscle group.

By the time you reach your head, your body should feel relaxed and ready for sleep.
