Fortune Cookie

It is widely believed that Chinese migrants working on the railways invented these little nuggets of faux wisdom as a way to communicate with each other. However, some believe that David Jung, a Chinese immigrant living in Los Angeles and founder of the Hong Kong Noodle Company, is credited with inventing the cookie in 1918. Concerned about the poor wandering around his shop, he created the cookie and gave it away free.

No matter who invented the fortune cookie, they are fun to open. Below you will find a site where you can open a fortune cookie.
