Chances and God

One of the most profound expressions of God’s love is the gift of chances – opportunities and possibilities that present themselves throughout our lives. God has provided us with everything we need to live a fulfilling and purposeful life, but it is up to us to recognize these gifts and ask for the support and guidance we require. Anatole France, a French poet, and novelist, once said, “Perhaps chance is the way that God signs his work when he does not wish to claim credit.” In this section, we will explore the connection between God’s love, the gift of chances, and the power of asking for what we need.

Recognizing God’s Love in the Gift of Chances

God’s love is manifested in the countless chances and opportunities that we encounter in our daily lives. These chances may appear as serendipitous encounters, unexpected insights, or seemingly coincidental events that lead us in new directions or help us overcome challenges. By acknowledging and embracing these gifts, we align ourselves with the divine guidance and abundance that God has bestowed upon us. Some key aspects to consider include:

Understanding that every chance is a gift from God, imbued with the potential for growth, learning, and transformation.
Recognizing that God’s love is present in both the joyful and challenging moments of our lives, and that every experience can be an opportunity for spiritual growth and deepening our connection with the divine.

Embracing a mindset of gratitude, acknowledging the abundance and blessings that God has provided and remaining open to the chances and opportunities that arise from this divine love.

Kindness has a beautiful way of multiplying. Share something thoughtful you recently did for another person, your community, animals, or the planet. Your story does not need to be grand, even the smallest act of kindness may inspire someone else to do good today.

One or two short lines about a kind thing you did. Please leave out names, links, and contact information. Every message is read before it appears.

A personal note from Amelia, click to open Chances.org has been run by one volunteer, me, since 1999. Here's how you can help keep it going. Read my letter Close my note

Hello, it's me, Amelia Carrie. I have been running and updating Chances.org since 1999, for free. I pay for the software, hosting, maintenance, apps, and more. That's more than 25 years of my life devoted to doing something I love.

However, the fact is that I am a senior now and due to having to compete with AI for computer graphics work, I can no longer afford to run this site on my own. I need your help, not only to keep it online, but to keep it growing. That's why I am updating Chances.org with a Donate button and a Supporters page.

If you can't afford either, you can still help for free by using the sharing buttons below. Thank you!

With gratitude,
Amelia Carrie

For investors and dreamers: If you are an investor with the means to help Chances.org grow as big as Change.org or GoFundMe, please write to me at ChancesCharity@Gmail.com.

And if you have great plans and ambition, I may even let you take this site over, because everybody deserves a chance.

You can't have change without chances!
