Sowing Seeds of Compassion: The Growth of Kindness and Change

The image, blooming with the vibrant hues of a flourishing garden and the uplifting message “Cultivate Kindness. Harvest Change,” serves as a heartfelt reminder of the transformative power of simple human compassion.

Kindness: The First Seed

Kindness is often likened to a seed; when planted, it can grow into something far greater than itself. This design embodies the idea that every act of kindness, no matter how small, has the potential to blossom into a movement that can change the world. Like the flowers in the image that reach upwards, kindness uplifts not only the receiver but the giver as well.

The Harvest of Change

Change is the natural progression of consistent acts of kindness. It’s the harvest we reap when we nurture our relationships and communities with empathy and understanding. This image encapsulates the belief that change isn’t an instantaneous occurrence, but a gradual process of nurturing, growth, and careful tending to the values we wish to see flourish around us.

A personal note from Amelia, click to open Chances.org has been run by one volunteer, me, since 1999. Here's how you can help keep it going. Read my letter Close my note

Hello, it's me, Amelia Carrie. I have been running and updating Chances.org since 1999, for free. I pay for the software, hosting, maintenance, apps, and more. That's more than 25 years of my life devoted to doing something I love.

However, the fact is that I am a senior now and due to having to compete with AI for computer graphics work, I can no longer afford to run this site on my own. I need your help, not only to keep it online, but to keep it growing. That's why I am updating Chances.org with a Donate button and a Sponsors page. Any extra money will be donated towards some of the chances needed ads on this site.

If you can't afford either, you can still help for free by using the sharing buttons below. Thank you!

With gratitude,
Amelia Carrie

For investors and dreamers: If you are an investor with the means to help Chances.org grow as big as Change.org or GoFundMe, please write to me at ChancesCharity@Gmail.com.

And if you have great plans and ambition, I may even let you take this site over, because everybody deserves a chance.

You can't have change without chances!
