MoveOn: Grassroots Power For Everyday People

MoveOn is one of the largest grassroots advocacy communities in the United States, giving millions of members the tools to start petitions, organize, and campaign on the issues they care about. Anyone can launch a petition to rally support and press decision-makers, and members mobilize around causes ranging from health care and civil rights to democracy and economic fairness. Its strength is numbers: when a campaign catches on, the collective voice of a huge membership can influence public debate and policy. Members can sign, share, donate, and take part in coordinated actions. For people who believe change comes from organized, everyday citizens rather than from the powerful alone, MoveOn provides the megaphone and the movement. If you have an issue you want to advance, or a cause you want to defend, it is a place to make your voice part of something larger. Start at moveon.org.

A personal note from Amelia, click to open Chances.org has been run by one volunteer, me, since 1999. Here's how you can help keep it going. Read my letter Close my note

Hello, it's me, Amelia Carrie. I have been running and updating Chances.org since 1999, for free. I pay for the software, hosting, maintenance, apps, and more. That's more than 25 years of my life devoted to doing something I love.

However, the fact is that I am a senior now and due to having to compete with AI for computer graphics work, I can no longer afford to run this site on my own. I need your help, not only to keep it online, but to keep it growing. That's why I am updating Chances.org with a Donate button and a Supporters page.

If you can't afford either, you can still help for free by using the sharing buttons below. Thank you!

With gratitude,
Amelia Carrie

For investors and dreamers: If you are an investor with the means to help Chances.org grow as big as Change.org or GoFundMe, please write to me at ChancesCharity@Gmail.com.

And if you have great plans and ambition, I may even let you take this site over, because everybody deserves a chance.

You can't have change without chances!
