Charity Navigator is the largest independent evaluator of charities, helping donors give with confidence by rating nonprofits on their finances, accountability, transparency, and impact. Before you write a check, you can look up an organization and see how responsibly it uses donations, how much reaches its programs, and whether it operates with integrity. This protects givers from waste and fraud and rewards the charities doing excellent work. The site is free to use and covers thousands of organizations, making it an essential first stop for thoughtful giving. It does not take donations on behalf of charities so much as it equips you to choose wisely and even give through its tools with assurance. For anyone who wants their generosity to land somewhere trustworthy and effective, Charity Navigator is the research partner that makes it possible. Check any charity at charitynavigator.org.
