DoSomething: Young People Taking On The World’s Problems

DoSomething is one of the largest organizations for young people and social change, mobilizing millions of members to take action on causes they care about, from cleaning up their communities and fighting poverty to promoting kindness, health, and justice. Its campaigns are designed to be easy to join and genuinely fun, meeting young people where they are and turning energy into real-world impact. Members can sign up for campaigns, take concrete actions, and even earn scholarships for their participation. It proves that you do not need to be older, wealthy, or credentialed to make a difference. For teens, young adults, educators, and anyone who wants to encourage the next generation of doers, DoSomething channels youthful idealism into tangible good. If you or a young person in your life wants to start making change now, this is the launchpad. Join a campaign at dosomething.org.

A personal note from Amelia, click to open Chances.org has been run by one volunteer, me, since 1999. Here's how you can help keep it going. Read my letter Close my note

Hello, it's me, Amelia Carrie. I have been running and updating Chances.org since 1999, for free. I pay for the software, hosting, maintenance, apps, and more. That's more than 25 years of my life devoted to doing something I love.

However, the fact is that I am a senior now and due to having to compete with AI for computer graphics work, I can no longer afford to run this site on my own. I need your help, not only to keep it online, but to keep it growing. That's why I am updating Chances.org with a Donate button and a Supporters page.

If you can't afford either, you can still help for free by using the sharing buttons below. Thank you!

With gratitude,
Amelia Carrie

For investors and dreamers: If you are an investor with the means to help Chances.org grow as big as Change.org or GoFundMe, please write to me at ChancesCharity@Gmail.com.

And if you have great plans and ambition, I may even let you take this site over, because everybody deserves a chance.

You can't have change without chances!
