How it works: Receiving support and encouragement from others can be a powerful motivator in taking chances. Words of praise and recognition can boost our self-confidence and give us the extra push we need to take that next step. Whether it’s through face-to-face conversations or online interactions, the comments of others can remind us that we are not alone and that our efforts are appreciated. So don’t underestimate the power of kind words and supportive comments in your journey towards taking chances and achieving your goals. And, it is perfectly okay to write words of encouragement like those above to yourself. Loving and supporting yourself helps counteract any self doubts.

Sharing chances creates good karma 😃
Kindness has a beautiful way of multiplying. Share something thoughtful you recently did for another person, your community, animals, or the planet. Your story does not need to be grand, even the smallest act of kindness may inspire someone else to do good today.

One or two short lines about a kind thing you did. Please leave out names, links, and contact information. Every message is read before it appears.

A personal note from Amelia, click to open Chances.org has been run by one volunteer, me, since 1999. Here's how you can help keep it going. Read my letter Close my note

Hello, it's me, Amelia Carrie. I have been running and updating Chances.org since 1999, for free. I pay for the software, hosting, maintenance, apps, and more. That's more than 25 years of my life devoted to doing something I love.

However, the fact is that I am a senior now and due to having to compete with AI for computer graphics work, I can no longer afford to run this site on my own. I need your help, not only to keep it online, but to keep it growing. That's why I am updating Chances.org with a Donate button and a Sponsors page. Any extra money will be donated towards some of the chances needed ads on this site.

If you can't afford either, you can still help for free by using the sharing buttons below. Thank you!

With gratitude,
Amelia Carrie

For investors and dreamers: If you are an investor with the means to help Chances.org grow as big as Change.org or GoFundMe, please write to me at ChancesCharity@Gmail.com.

And if you have great plans and ambition, I may even let you take this site over, because everybody deserves a chance.

You can't have change without chances!
